Privacy Policy

Pencily is a tutor that explains things while drawing them. This page says what we keep about you, why, and how to remove it.

What we keep

• Your account: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your profile photo. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Your plan and usage: which plan you're on, how many lessons you started today, and whether you joined the Plus waitlist.

What we don't keep

Your questions and photos are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to create the lesson, and the lesson's narration is sent to ElevenLabs to make the voice. We don't store them on our servers. Your saved lessons live only in your own browser, on your device.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who else sees your data

Only the services that run Pencily: Google (Firebase and Google Cloud, where Pencily is hosted), Anthropic and ElevenLabs. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That removes your account, plan, usage and waitlist entry. Settings can also clear the lessons saved in your browser.

Children

Pencily is for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, please don't create an account.
